Fillers

Fillers have evolved from something with which to fill in wrinkles to a variety of materials that stimulate collagen production and enhance renewal of the volumes of the face and the integrity of the skin. Aging of the face is now understood to be a collapse of the skin, fat, muscles, and bones of the face and the most important rejuvenation procedure available today is to restore lost volume. For that reason fillers have become the treatment of choice in facial rejuvenation and an essential component in virtually every facial treatment.

Restylane / Juvaderm

New and exciting facial filler options are safe, simple and effective facial rejuvenation options. Hyaluronic acid fillers restore lost volume to facial cosmetic units such as lips, or to wrinkles and furrows, for an immediate anti-aging effect, without downtime or the risk of allergic reaction. Results can last months-years.

Lipoaugmentation

Lipoaugmentation restores a youthful contour by transferring a patient's own fat from an undesired area to a collapsed cosmetic unit of the face. This procedure restores sunken eyes and cheeks, thin lips and mouth, and ill-defined jaw lines and chin creating a more youthful appearance. Radiesse

Radiesse is a combination of calcium hydroxyl appetite in a collagen matrix. As the collagen in the mixture dissolves the calcium stimulates new collagen formation which fills out hollow areas of the face. More recently Radiesse has been used in hand rejuvenation to plump up skin and reduce the appearance of distended veins. Results can last 1-3 years.

Sculptra

Sculptra is the first of a new group of chemicals that induces the skin to produce more collagen. As it is a form of lactic acid it is safe to use in the human body. It is diluted in water so it is easily distributed and that makes it efficient and cost effective to treat the entire face at one time; achieving a youthful appearance without an obvious cosmetically treated look.
