MetropolitanMD Offers Latisse in Chicago IL and North Suburbs
Chicago, IL, February 24, 2009 - MetropolitanMD, a cosmetic surgical practice in Chicago IL. has announced a program to dispense Latisse, the only FDA approved topical medication available to grow eyelashes. For the vast majority of users the bimatoprost ophthalmic solution will grow eyelashes, make them thicker, and sometimes even make their lashes darker.
Drops are placed on the eyelashes of the upper eyelid nightly for 4 months. Thereafter, it is placed on the eyelash up to several times per week. According to the manufacturer, Allergen, if patients decide to discontinue its usage they will only lose newly grown eyelashes.
The medication is available by prescription only. Patients will be asked to fill out a simple history form to avoid complications due to pre-existing illness. Cost to the patient is $120.00 every 2 months, for a total of 4 months, and then much less thereafter.
In order to best assess the results of Latisse, doctors at MetropolitanMD will interview and photograph each patient at no charge. This will assure that each patient is an appropriate candidate for the drops and each patient will get the best results possible.
