Dr. Joseph Franco is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He joined MetropolitanMD in 2004 as chief of plastic and reconstructive surgery, and he maintains staff privileges at Hinsdale Hospital and West Suburban Hospital in the Chicagoland suburbs. He is also in private practice.
After completing a fellowship in hand surgery in 1993, Franco finished plastic surgery training at Loyola University Medical Center in 1996. The culmination of nearly 20 years of surgical training and practice, complemented by experience with comprehensive reconstructive procedures, has led Franco to become highly regarded in his field. His areas of expertise include breast augmentation and reduction, abdominoplasty (“tummy tucks”) and breast lifts.
Franco’s familiarity with minimally invasive surgery techniques and his willingness to perform cosmetic surgery without the use of general anesthesia complements Dr. Lack’s and Dr. Rachel’s abilities to offer the safest, most up-to-date and effective procedures to enhance any patient’s appearance and self-esteem.
