Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, is a significant problem for many patients. Clammy hands, sweaty faces, wet feet, and sometimes most disconcerting wet armpits cause embarrassment, odor, and inconvenience.

There are basically 3 treatments available for patients with these problems:

Oral medications like anticholinergics and beta blockers reduce the ability of the sweat glands to produce sweat upon stimulation

Botox injections to palms, soles, and armpits can markedly reduce sweating for up to 6 months

Laser lipolysis can markedly reduce sweating permanently in the armpits

After assessing the patient’s needs we can provide all of the options noted above to reduce worry and discomfort from this vexing problem.
